Touchdown UK by Nick Richards

Nick wrote and published a book on the history of American football in the UK in 2009 called Touchdown UK.
The book idea came after watching the historic Wembley clash between Miami Dolphins and New York Giants in 2007 and then, while on a round the world trip the idea was born.
Published in March 2009, Nick was inivted to Las Vegas in September 2009 to speak at a reunion of USAFE American footballers.

“An absolute GEM of a find for any 'american football' fans in the UK who grew up with the sport form its halcyon days in 1982 right down to today when the NFL routinely play regular season games. Each and every single element of the impact 'american football' had on those british fans is really well documented and written, even a section on computer games of the time that featured 'american football'. I can honestly , with hand on heart throughly recommend this very well written and entertaining account of the 'american football' glory days in the UK. It is wonderful and very well written” – Amazon review
